I have started practising yoga in 1998, when working in New York as an actor. Since then I share my time between Theatre and Yoga. These two worlds explore human nature using different methods, but the same tools, body and mind. I find in theatre, as in Yoga, the same danger; paying too much attention to what happens within you, excluding others. The true joy is when the fruits of the work are offered to the people that surround us. This thought guide me to become a yoga teacher. To perform on stage I work based on the breakdown of the theatrical play. To teach I draw information and inspiration mostly from the work of one of the greatest yoga teachers B.K.S. Iyengar, Guruji.
Through these years of practising and teaching, Cindy Lee, Usha Devi and Penny Chaplin are the teachers that have influenced me the most and I feel a lot of respect and gratitude towards them without forgetting so many others.
